Built for alpine and backcountry skiing, this jacket features our proven 70D–160D 3L hardshell with precision micro-bleed fully taped seams to deliver reliable waterproof, windproof protection and balanced moisture vapor transmission without sacrificing mobility.

Engineered for skiers facing harsh, variable mountain weather. Optimized moisture permeability releases excess body moisture during high-output activity, ideal for long summit trips and backcountry tours in wet, exposed alpine environments.

Layer 1 – Technical Base Layer (Moisture Management)
A next-to-skin moisture-wicking long-sleeve top. Rapidly pulls sweat away from your body to prevent post-activity chill and maintain a dry microclimate during intense skiing.

Layer 2 – Mid-Layer (Thermal Retention Core)
A technical fleece or lightweight insulated jacket. Traps core body heat while allowing moisture vapor to pass through freely. Note: Our N47 Hardshell is ergonomically patterned with targeted room to comfortably fit this thermal layer.

Layer 3 – Outer Layer: Our N47 3L Hardshell Jacket
Your ultimate weather barrier. The stormproof, windproof ePTFE 3-layer membrane seals out heavy snow, rain, and freezing winds, while two-way underarm pit zips vent excess body heat during high-output backcountry ascents.
